Fuzzy groaned. She had been traveling for a while now, and was thirsty and hungry. She was about to take rest when she smelled a strange new smell. Curiously creeping forward, she was disgusted at the creature. Slimy, with long legs and a sticky tongue. It slurped up a fly, and croaked. Fuzzypelt quietly crept forward. She snatched up the frog, and greedily gulped it down. She was suddenly much stronger. She stalked between the thick reeds. A river! Her heart lightened as she saw seven stones planted higher than the water, made for crossing the river. She confidently leapt on to the first stone. She began to get nervous. The rocks were slippery. She jumped to the second stone, but slipped off of it into the river. The clung fiercely to the small, slippery rock and yowled as the current of the water slowly edged away at her strength. Suddenly, as she was about to let go, two strange cats leapt into the water and started gracefully swimming towards her. She squeezed her eyes shut and let the two cats drag her out of the water. She slowly stood up and mewed, "Thanks." One of the cats glanced at the other and mewed quietly, "Hello, I'm Brakenpaw," The other cat frowned, but still mewed, "My name is Skypaw." They turned and raced into the woods. Curious, Fuzzy trotted after the two mysteries cats. Suddenly a cat jumped out of the brambles and growled. A strange look came over the cat. She cautiously wandered up to Fuzzy and sniffed her. The cat's eyes grew wide. "Fuzzykit?" she mewed joyfully.
